National Night 2022

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

As National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. This platform also provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

South Brunswick Police Department hosted National Night out event at local Rowland Park, on August 2nd from 6pm to 9pm. Hindu American Society of Central New Jersey partnered with local police department and under their guidelines set up a booth, that provided an opportunity of community members to form a bond with Police Department. The graceful stall was one of the focal point that displayed the culture and heritage of Hinduism and was very well attended. Some of the memories are captured through the lense are really mesmerizing.

Vraj Trip

On August 12th 2022, Hindu American Society of Central NJ, arranged a trip to a religious temple in Schuylkill Haven in Pennisylvania. With a lot of residents approaching the volunteers of Hindu American Society of Central NJ, to organize a day trip to a temple on full moon day, in Pennisylvania known as Vraj temple. To comply with demand of residents, the organization with support of volunteers hired a tour bus and arranged a day trip to the temple. 57 residents participated in the trip and each person was extended with a warm welcome through a Tilak ceremony and providing refreshments.
